Alright .. so .. as is commonplace in the realm of indie filmmaking, schedules are subject to change.
Not only are they subject to change, they are also subject to a complete screwover. That being said, the effects for “Speed Racer” were hastily completed (by a team of 3, no less) over the course of about 8 hours. Sound design got a slightly similar treatment. BUT … do or die, we wanted to make the FilmFights.com deadline. So here is “Speed Racer”, as it is today, but most certainly not as it will remain. “Speed Racer”

“Speed Racer” went pretty well and looks like it will be frickin’ hilarious. Or at least that’s the idea. Here’s a few pics from the shoot.

So our crazy little short film/skit “Speed Racer” will be shooting this Sunday, with the edit, fx, and audio being completed throughout the next couple of weeks. We’ll be uploading it to filmfights.com shortly thereafter as part of the “Summer Blockbusters” fight. So everyone be sure to check back, and vote, for the film once it’s up!
